Choosing your doctor is a personal and important decision. And when faced with cancer, there are a lot of moving parts.

Central California Gynecologic Oncology is here to create a specific treatment plan for you and see you through the entire journey.

What We Do

Gynecologic oncology is a subspecialty devoted to caring for people with pre-cancers and cancers of the uterus, ovaries, cervix, vulva, and vagina, as well as pregnancy-related tumors.

Physicians in this discipline complete 4 years of training in obstetrics and gynecology, and then receive 3 years of instruction in cancer surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and palliative care.

While gynecologic oncologists focus on cancer, they also apply their expertise in radical surgery as consultants for medically complex gynecologic or obstetric situations.

Additionally, they engage in research and education, participating in broader societal efforts to eradicate cancer, once and for all.
